Baccalaureate & Graduate Programs

Standards for Accreditation of Baccalaureate and Graduate Nursing Programs (Amended 2024)
The 2024 Standards go into effect January 1, 2025. All programs hosting an on-site evaluation after January 1, 2025 will be assessed using the 2024 accreditation standards. Reports (excluding self-study document reports for Spring 2025 on-site evaluations) submitted prior to January 1, 2025 should address the 2018 Standards; reports submitted after January 1, 2025 should address the 2024 Standards. The 2018 Standards will remain in effect through December 31, 2024. A crosswalk table comparing the 2018 Standards and the 2024 Standards is coming soon.

The 2018 Standards went into effect January 1, 2019. All programs hosting an on-site evaluation after January 1, 2019 will be assessed using the 2018 accreditation standards. Reports submitted prior to January 1, 2019 should address the 2013 Standards; reports submitted after January 1, 2019 should address the 2018 Standards. The 2018 Standards will remain in effect through December 31, 2024.
