AACN's Director of Government Affairs Receives AANP Advocacy Award

AACN is proud to report that our Director of Government Affairs, Rachel Stevenson Minahan, is the recipient of The Advocate State Award for Excellence (Region 3, District of Columbia), presented by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). 

AANP's State Award for Excellence is granted annually to deserving nurse practitioners (NPs) and NP advocates. The Advocate State Award for Excellence is given to an individual in each state who has made a significant contribution toward increasing awareness and recognition of NPs.

Rachel and the other honorees were due to receive their awards at the 2020 AANP Annual Conference earlier this month. However, due to COVID-19 concerns, the conference was cancelled. Award winners will receive their awards at a later date.
