AACN Announces Fall Faculty Forum and Call for Abstracts Monday, August 31, 2020 On December 7-9, 2020, AACN will host a virtual Fall Faculty Forum with sessions focused on a variety of topics related to AACN’s work on re-envisioning the Essentials. This event, themed Exploring Disruption and Innovation in Nursing Education, will feature a variety of provocative sessions on topics of great interest to today’s nurse educator, including competency-based education, professional identity formation, navigating disruptive innovation, leveraging data and technology, teaching population health, and preparing the nursing workforce of the future. Call for Abstracts AACN is currently seeking faculty to submit abstracts for the Fall Faculty Forum. Abstracts should describe programs, courses, initiatives, or evaluation strategies that characterize the conference theme, Exploring Disruption and Innovation in Nursing Education. The submission deadline is Wednesday, September 30 at 11:59 pm (ET). Abstracts that reflect innovation and highlight the particular topics of interest below are welcome.
