JPN Editor Develops Open Course on "Writing for Professional Journals" Wednesday, May 27, 2020 Dr. Patricia Morton, Dean Emeritus at the University of Utah College of Nursing and Editor of the Journal of Professional Nursing, has authored "Writing for Professional Journals," a course open to the public and licensed under Creative Commons. The content is part of a grant provided by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) while Dr. Morton participated in the RWJF Executive Nurse Fellow program. The course can be used by an individual learner or can be adapted in any way for a course in a school's program of study. It also may be helpful to practicing nurses in a professional development program. The course content includes 12 modules. Each module has accompanying video instruction, PowerPoint slides, reflection assignments, activity log workbook assignments, and suggested reading lists.
