Your donations to the Foundation help to advance our work to establish quality standards for nursing education; assist schools in implementing those standards; influence the nursing profession to improve health care; and support professional nursing education, research, and practice. The Foundation’s priority initiatives for FY ’22 and FY ‘23 are: Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion; Well-being and Resilience; and Academic Nursing Innovation. In its short lifespan, the Foundation has already established a track record of success by providing much needed relief to over 150 students impacted by COVID-19, support to nursing faculty studying disaster planning, competency-based education, and diversity, equity, and inclusion, and a new mechanism to shape future nurse leaders.
